Intrigued by goalies?  Ever wonder what it feels like to strap on the pads?  And what is a butterfly?  You’ve got questions, we’ve got the people who can answer!  Join CORA’s knowledgeable goalie crew at our first ever Come Try Goalie featuring:

  • Sarah Cram – Sarah began playing goalie in U14, making multiple trips to Canadian Ringette Championships, as well as the University Challenge Cup as a Carleton Raven.  She is currently goalie coach for CORA U19AA.
  • Emma Harvie – Emma began playing goalie in U10, making multiple trips to Canadian Ringette Championships, both with GCRA and later CORA, as well as the University Challenge Cup as a Carleton Raven.  She is currently goalie coach for CORA U16AA.
  • Rob Cram – Rob has been coaching ringette since 2009, starting as goalie coach to both his daughters Sarah & Jenny – on different CORA teams!  He has gone to Easterns and Canadian Ringette Championships as an assistant (goalie) coach and most recently as head coach of CORA’s U19AAs in 2019.  He is currently head coach for CORA U19AA.
  • Ash McColgan – Ash has been coaching ringette since 2012, with a focus on goalies for the past 5 years. He is dad to returning CORA’s U19AA goalie Kaia McColgan (and her twin sister Abbey).

Sarah & Emma will be leading the on-ice portion with the support of their U16/U19 volunteers goalies.  Rob & Ash will be available to talk with parents, offering both the coach and goalie parent perspective.
