Tryouts - Competitive teams (Provincial, AA, A) are formed based on player assessments; U16 & U14 competitive teams are formed at Spring Tryouts, U19 competitive teams form in June and U12 competitive teams are formed in September. All players trying out for competitive must be registered prior to stepping on the ice. For information on Tryout Plans & Drills, visit TryOuts.

Power Skating - CORA offers optional bi-weekly power skating on Mondays to all recreational players U8-U14, it is anticipated this cost will be $165 per player. Players may now register for power skating at the same time as their season registration; if you are unsure of your daughter's level (recreational vs. competitive), please choose recreational at this time and you will be invoiced the difference in price should your daughter make the competitive team.

2nd Year U19/Belles - 2nd year U19/Belle players unsure of their university plans for their 3rd year U19 season who may be considering staying in Ottawa, are encouraged to register for CORA in April to benefit from the returning CORA player guarantee above and spring fees. Please indicate in the "Additional Comments" the possibility of being away at university for the upcoming season. If the player in fact goes away to university, CORA will issue a full refund with notification by Aug 15, prior to the first U19 ice times in the fall.
